Employment opportunities for both teaching and non-teaching staff are listed under current positionsFull job details and an online application form are supplied for each position.

IGS maintains a list of qualified casual teaching staff to fill short term positions at the School. To apply to join our list, please submit a casual teaching application.

Information for applicants

All applicants seeking employment at the School must provide a full curriculum vitae that includes their qualifications and work history, contact details for two referees and a cover letter of no more than two pages that outlines their suitability for the role.

Working With Children Check

Applications for all roles must include details of a Working With Children Check, including an approval number and date of approval. For more information about this check visit Working With Children at www.kidsguardian.nsw.gov.au/check.

Qualifications for Teaching Roles

Applicants for teaching roles should also include details of their accreditation with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA), formerly BOSTES. The Institute of Teachers Act (2004) requires teachers in NSW to be accredited with NESA. More information about accreditation can be found at educationstandards.nsw.edu.au.
