Location & Facilities

A unique and vibrant educational setting

International Grammar School’s cosmopolitan, secular and co-educational learning environment from Preschool to Year 12 is a short walk from the University of Sydney, UTS and The University of Notre Dame.

IGS Campus

Our campus provides an inner-city Early Learning Centre, Primary School and High School near the Sydney CBD.

The main, light-filled Reg St Leon Building was built in 1997 on the historical site of the Dalgety Wool Store in Kelly Street, Ultimo.

There is a large rooftop play area and basketball court, whilst nearby Wentworth Park and the Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre provide additional sporting venues.

The Wright Building, opened in 2000, houses IT facilities, a Drama space and a Peace Garden.

A contemporary Senior Annexe opened in 2005 in Mountain Street.

The Kerrie Murphy Building (KMB), adjacent to the Wright Building in Bay Street, opened in 2011 with a gym, climbing wall, library, languages hub and all-purpose hall.

In 2015, IGS acquired property at 77 to 79 Bay Street for a senior art studio and administration and meeting spaces.
